About Me

My name's Ruslan. I've been in this business long enough to know what works, what breaks, and what wastes your time.

I'm a platform engineer - I design, build, and maintain systems that need to run clean, scale properly, and recover fast when things go sideways. Most of my time is spent working with Linux, cloud infrastructure (AWS mostly), Laravel, Terraform, and databases that have seen things they shouldn't have.

I've worked across startups, scale-ups and mature businesses, and I'm just as comfortable writing application code as I am debugging production at 2am with nothing but htop, logs, and grim determination.

This site is where I document things - tools I've built, problems I've solved, edge cases that bit me, and ways to prevent them from biting again.
